This suit lands in the perfect zone of flattering and cute, but not overly sexy. Every time I wear it, I get asked, “Where did you get that?”

Finisterre is a brand rooted in surf, and their swimsuits are built for the job. The top features a vintage-inspired cut with adjustable straps, ensuring you're comfy and supported. I appreciate the security of the wide back clasp and the lack of any ties. I find if a swimsuit requires tying the straps, it never feels as steadfast, plus knots can be uncomfortable under a wetsuit or life jacket. The Sula Bikini “holds the girls in place," so you can focus on fun without any wardrobe malfunctions. The SULA High Waist bottoms provide full to moderate coverage.
I find the style flattering and secure, never sliding down when diving into the water. If high-waisted tailoring isn’t your style, there is a bikini bottom option as well. While testing the Sula Bikini on a backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne River, I was impressed with how quickly it dried after my morning dips. It dried in early morning sun before I packed up. I rarely had to strap it to the outside of my pack!

I’ve only owned the Sula for two months, and so far the quality feels top-notch. So far, it’s been on backpacking trips through Yosemite, cold plunges in Lake Tahoe, and stand-up paddle boarding and there is no degradation or fading.
